The "Bird-Cage" Metal-Sheath SPRT

Finally a metal-sheath SPRT to meet the highest standards! After years of development and rigorous testing, AccuMac is very proud to bring this world class SPRT, AM1880, to our customers. It features a 'Bird-Cage' design of the sensing element that provides three distinctive advantages:

• More mechanical shocks resistant than the traditional coil wounding of platinum wires;

• Allows for the high purity platinum wires to be wound strain-free;

• Quicker response time.

AM1880 covers a temperature range from -200 °C to 670 °C with a extreme low drift rate of less than 0.003 °C/year for typical usages. It offers the performance similar to that of a quartz-sheath SPRT but has the toughness to deal with more harsh environment. 

It will be an outstanding addtion to your calibration lab as a primary standard.
